The Wisdom of Percival Management Workshop
The Holy Grail for today’s executive is a cultural climate that enhances the recruitment and retention of top talent, improves productivity and financial margins, and increases quality. But many organizations are much like the Fisher King, the guardian of the Grail, who suffered from a hideous wound that refused to heal. Only Sir Percival was courageous enough to find the Grail, heal the King, and restore the wasteland to beauty. Through this Arthurian legend, you’ll rediscover the Code of Chivalry and travel a path to personal and corporate transformation, a journey every authentic leader should make.
This workshop can also be presented as a two-hour management seminar.
About the Workshop
In this high-energy, interactive workshop, participants experience the heroics of Sir Percival – the Arthurian Legend knight who successfully sought the Holy Grail – as they are led through a series of exercises designed to evaluate their organization’s culture, with the goal of moving themselves and their company to higher ground. Prior to the workshop, participants are invited to take part in the Code of Chivalry Assessment, which helps each of them understand how to become a stronger servant leader.
Through a combination of storytelling, lecture, and discussion, participants develop an understanding of how the ancient manifesto that is the Code of Chivalry serves as a modern-day guide to leadership. As such, the Code of Chivalry is explored in detail, along with actions that can be taken to incorporate its concepts – which have endured for hundreds of years – into the fabric of the organization. Throughout the workshop, each participant develops an individual renewal investment plan, designed to re-energize the body, refocus the mind, and recharge the spirit.
