7 Elements of Trust Management Workshop
Trust is both a cause and an effect of a company’s culture. The trust we have in each other – and especially the trust between employees and management – impacts how we go about our work everyday, and how we approach our work enhances or detracts from trust. Simply put, when trust doesn’t exist – or has eroded – it is impossible for an organization to become a great company. But how do you develop trust in the workplace if it doesn’t exist? And how do you enhance and reinforce it even if it does? This workshop provides real tools for creating a culture built on trust.
This workshop can also be presented as a two-hour management seminar.
About the Workshop
In this high-energy, interactive workshop, participants come face to face with their abilities to enhance trust in the workplace and learn firsthand whether their actions are having positive or negative impacts on the organization’s culture. Through group exercises, participants discover how we often sidestep difficult issues that often – and unknowingly – destroy trust between employees and managers and how certain behaviors can quickly uproot the company’s culture.
Prior to the workshop, participants are invited to take part in an online Trust Orientation Profile, which identifies their strengths and weaknesses in 12 dimensions that are critical to building trust – in both their personal and professional lives. Individual results are provided to attendees in advance so that participants have time to reflect on their trust characteristics and better understand the concepts that are presented during the workshop itself. The aggregate results are woven into the workshop to highlight important points and to illustrate leadership issues related to the organization’s ability to create, build, and enhance trust.
This is a powerful workshop that uses real stories to illustrate important points. It also identifies the company’s cultural vulnerabilities – even in organizations that already have strong leadership with immensely powerful cultures.
